Full-stack developer. Systems thinker.
Builder of things that actually get used.

William X. Sanchez

I build software across the full stack and both sides of the brain. On one end: polished UIs, product design, and the kind of frontend work people actually enjoy using. On the other: backends, data pipelines, system architecture, and the unglamorous stuff that keeps everything running.

My background is in computer science with a concentration in cybersecurity, which means I think about security and systems at every layer, not just at the end. That lens shows up in everything I build, from a quantum-resistant email platform to enterprise data systems to this blog.

Right now I'm deep in data and systems work by day and building AI tooling on the side. I'm particularly interested in agentic systems and fine-tuned small language models over large general-purpose ones. Niche beats broad when the problem is specific enough.

This blog exists because I learn by writing. The tech posts are the things I wish existed when I was figuring something out. The project posts are the builds I can't stop thinking about. No filler, no content-marketing fluff.

Things I've Built

Grailhaus
In development

Collectibles pricing aggregator pulling live data from 8 marketplaces. Built-in price alerts and collection tracking so you always know what your grails are worth.

Next.js · TypeScript

Quantum-resistant, end-to-end encrypted, zero-knowledge email platform. Built from scratch in TypeScript and Go. No longer my project, but it shipped and it ran.

TypeScript · GoLang

Fantasy sports league organizer with a custom CMS, CDN, and gamification layer. No longer my project, but it was real — 4,000 monthly visitors at its peak.

React · Firebase · Netlify

If something I build or write is useful to you, the newsletter is the best place to follow along.
